Back in the States, he built a brand, stocked nearly 200 supermarket shelves, cooked for celebrities, and turned his obsession with pasta into a life's work.
Salvatore Moretti grew up obsessed with food. Not just eating it. Understanding it. He trained across Italy for years, absorbing Roman tradition, the coastal flavors of Sardinia, the experimental kitchens of Modena, and everything in between, developing a mastery of Italian cuisine that is hard-earned and impossible to fake.
A Certified Celebrity Chef, he has toured with major bands, cooked for celebrities, and served his food at the White House. Back in South Florida he founded Moretti Gourmet Creations and Moretti Foods, introducing his 60-second pasta to the shelves of nearly 200 supermarkets.
In 2016, he was featured in national press for his product development and TV work, including his show Pasta Boss. These days, Chef Sal is based in St. Augustine, cooking four-course Italian experiences for private events, with the same energy he has always had and better stories than ever.
